Hi, I’m Jon. I’m a vegan—most likely like yourself—and I’ve been one for six years. Before that, I was a vegetarian for many, many years. Veganism is more than just a diet or lifestyle for me; it’s a way to align my actions with my beliefs about compassion for animals, sustainability, and making a positive impact on our planet. Like you, I’ve faced the challenges of finding affordable vegan products and navigating deals websites that don’t quite cater to our lifestyle. That’s why I decided to create Vegan Deals.

It’s actually slightly more than just a ‘vegan’ thing, i’ve been an avid bargain hunter for decades, taking after my father who quite literally would visit multiple supermarkets in a singular trip just to find the best deals. So you could say vegan deals is a meeting point for three of my passions, veganism, bargain hunting and software engineering.

Vegan Deals was born out of the realization that there’s a better way for our community to come together. I’ve seen countless groups on Facebook and Reddit sharing deals, tips, and product recommendations, but the information is scattered across platforms. I thought, why not bring everything together in one place? Why not create a one-stop shop for vegans to find deals on the products they love and need without spending hours sifting through irrelevant offers? That’s exactly what Vegan Deals aims to do.

Our mission is simple: to make vegan living more accessible and affordable for everyone. One of the common misconceptions about veganism is that it’s a “premium” lifestyle, one that’s only attainable for those with disposable income. We want to break that narrative. By showcasing the best deals on vegan products—from food and drink to cosmetics and clothing—we hope to make plant-based living an option for more people. It’s about making ethical choices not just achievable but convenient.

But Vegan Deals is more than just a website. It’s a community. It’s a place where like-minded individuals can share their finds, support each other, and collaborate to make veganism as inclusive and practical as possible. Whether you’re a seasoned vegan or someone just starting to explore this lifestyle, you’re welcome here. Together, we can help each other save money and make more sustainable, compassionate choices.

At Vegan Deals, we’re also committed to giving back. While it’s unlikely that we’ll see profits in the first few years, when we do, we’ll be donating 20% of all profits to causes that matter—animal rights organizations, climate action initiatives, and charities that align with our mission of building a kinder, greener world. This is our way of ensuring that Vegan Deals doesn’t just benefit individuals but contributes to the larger fight for animal rights and environmental sustainability.
