Vegan Deals is a community-led space. These guidelines help keep conversations helpful, welcoming, and focused on saving money while living kindly. By commenting, voting, or submitting deals, you agree to follow them.
Be kind and respectful
Treat other members the way you'd want to be treated. Disagreement is fine; insults, harassment, and pile-ons are not. Assume good intent, especially when someone is new.
No hate speech or discrimination
We do not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, religious bigotry, xenophobia, or any other form of discrimination or hate. That includes slurs, stereotypes, and “jokes” that punch down. Offending content will be removed and accounts may be suspended or banned.
Keep it constructive
- Share tips that help others verify or use a deal.
- Disagree with the deal or the tip — not with the person.
- Don't spam, flood threads, or post the same comment repeatedly.
- Don't deliberately mislead people about prices, stock, or terms.
Stay on topic
Comments should relate to the deal or to vegan shopping tips. Off-topic debates, promo for unrelated products, and political flame wars belong elsewhere.
No threats, bullying, or doxxing
Do not threaten anyone, encourage harm, or share private information (addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, private messages) without consent. Impersonating others is not allowed.
Honesty in deals and comments
Only share deals you believe are genuine. If you're affiliated with a brand or earn commission, say so clearly. Fake urgency, fabricated prices, and misleading screenshots undermine trust for everyone. See our Deal guidelines for submission rules.
Adult content and illegal activity
Keep the site suitable for a general audience. No pornography, and no content that promotes illegal activity.
What happens if guidelines are broken
We may hide or delete content, warn members, or suspend or permanently ban accounts — depending on severity and history. Serious abuse (hate, threats, illegal content) may result in an immediate ban.

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, contact us via the contact page with a link to the content and a short description. We review reports as soon as we can.
